Judith Ann (Mather) Meredith

Judith "Judy" Ann Mather Meredith, born on April 23, 1941, passed away on January 6, 2025 at Beehive Assisted Living in Georgetown, Indiana.

Judy is preceded in death by her son, David Wayne Meredith.

She is survived by her devoted children, Mark D. Meredith (Patsy) and Karen M. Lozado; her five grandchildren, Kacey (Chad), Rachel, Rebekah, Alex and Mia; and five great-grandchildren; as well as her loving sister, Vicki Perry (Ken); and her brother, Robert Faulkner (Betsy).

Judy, a cancer survivor, was a devoted and loving mother who took great pride in her work at Kindred Healthcare, her cherished home, and her beloved furry companions. She loved to watch sports and was a longtime U of K fan. She had the joy of traveling across the country with her children, though her heart always found its way back to the beach, a place she held dear.

A dedicated member of Hillsdale Baptist Church, Judy served as Treasurer for a time, was actively involved with the Women's Missionary Union (WMU), and sang in the church choir. 

Known for her infectious sense of humor and radiant smile, Judy met life’s challenges with unmatched strength and grace. She was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville, Kentucky.
