Judith A. Harper, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Judith was a loving wife, mom, nanny, sister, aunt, and friend. She retired from Churchill Downs after working there many years. She attended Jefferson Community college. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends any chance she had. Judith will truly be missed by everyone she knew.
She was born on February 3, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to Thomas and Vashti (McDonaldson) Lippert. She is preceded in death by her Father, Thomas C. Lippert, Mother, Vashti S. Lippert, and Great-Grandson, Bryson McFall.
Judith is survived by her loving Husband of 58 years, Jim L. Harper, Children, Christine (Ray) Mohr, Katherine (David) Harvey, and James ""Jimmy" (Pamela) Harper, Grandchildren, Hannah Tomaszewski, Jason (Kelly) McFall, Mary (Dale) Dearing, Beth Jones, and Jenny (Michael) Goodpaster, 9 Great-Grandchildren, Siblings, Linda (Jerry) Metcalf, Kate (Randy) Ransdell, and Tom Lippert, Jr. as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Her private celebration of life will be in Pensacola Beach, FL "her happy place", ashes to be interred in the Santa Rosa Sound.
The family requests that contributions in Judith's memory be made to St. Judes Children Hospital.
