Juanita Pauline Giovenco

Mrs. Juanita Pauline Giovenco (nee Gooch), age 86 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Baptist Hospital East Pallative Care Center.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 9 and has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father and her beloved husband of 64 years, Sal Giovenco.
Born in Ft Eustis,VA on Aug. 28th, 1923.
As a military wife she traveled extensively. She and the family always returned to their home in New Jersey. Mom and Dad retired to Florida and were active with Good Shepherd Catholic Parish for 20 years. In 2002 Mom and Dad moved to Louisville, KY where they lived until their passing and were members of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, John(Lynn), four daughters, Janice Carlson, Linda Flynn(John), Teresa Wooldridge(Bill), Rosemary Gray(Rick), a sister Sally Smith (Charles) and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 2PM Thursday Dec. 17th at Newcomer Louisville Chapel with visitation after 12noon. She will then join her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
