Juanita Marie Miller

Juanita Marie Miller, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023. Juanita was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved being a Nana and Nona to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Juanita worked at Hadorn's Bakery and Haywood Ice Cream for several years. Juanita will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on September 30, 1947 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Lamar and Alice (Huffin) Mikel. She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Mikel; father, Lamar Mikel; brother, Kenneth Mikel; and husband, Joseph Miller.

Juanita is survived by her loving family, daughter, Lisa (Michael) Martin; son, Charles Miller; grandchildren, Haley Miller, Kyanne Martin, Lincoln Martin; great-grandchildren, Jaycalynn Jordan, Akxten Ritchie, Noble Ritchie; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky .

The family requests that contributions in Juanita's memory be made to Alzheimer's Association.
