Juanita Ruth Meyer, age 97 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Juanita was born September 1, 1926 in Sellersburg, Indiana to William and Mary (Mellon) Landers. She graduated from New Albany High School. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Juanita worked as an administrative secretary at Louisville General Hospital for more than twenty years. She enjoyed tennis, walking, and doing crafts. She was also an avid reader and did the crossword puzzle every day. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar; her son, Jon Meyer; sister, Marge Scott; and brothers, William and Doug Landers.
Juanita is survived by her son, Gary (Kim, step-daughter Kasi); daughter-in-law, Connie; sister, Melba Jean Jenney; her two grandsons, Ross and Matt and Matt's fiancé Cori Roth; and a host of family and friends.
There will be a private celebration of life, and she will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
