Joyce Marie Smith

Joyce Marie Smith, age 71 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. She was born on September 15, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lester N. Smith, Sr. and Leola M. Hottell Smith. She graduated from Western High School and completed many courses at several universities in the area. She retired from the Veterans Administration Region Office and the Purple Heart Association. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her sister, Daisy Ann Smith.

Joyce is survived by 6 siblings, Lester N. Smith, Jr., Susan Y. Walker, Alice J. Ryan, Hilda J. Lindeman, Robert M. Smith, Sr. and James E. Smith.

Cremation was chosen. At Joyce's request there will be no services.
