Joyce Ann Ray

Joyce Ann Ray, 68, of Louisville, KY, gained her wings, on August 30, 2022. She was a faithful servant of her Lord, Jesus Christ and was a youth director. Joyce loved children and owned her own Daycare, Silver Heights. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, writing and singing. Joyce enjoyed entertaining family gathering and had a contagious laugh. She will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Raley-Allen; parents, Louis and Irene Allen and brothers, Donald Allen and Lonnie Allen.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Daniel Ray, Jr.; grandchildren, Katlyn Whitworth, Chace Ray, Nadia Lewis and Rolando Mendoza; siblings, Mary Jewel, Robert Allen, Elizabeth Gibson, Kenneth Allen, Danny Allen, Richard Allen and Michael Allen; fur baby, Elijah and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be September 6, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 2pm-8pm with a celebration of Joyce's life beginning at 6pm.
