Joyce Ann Pace, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022.
She was born on January 10, 1941 in Lebanon Junction, Kentucky to Elvin and Martha (Masden) Brown. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Pace, grandson, Phillip Monks, infant brother, Stewart Brown, sisters, Betty Pate and Beverly Long, brothers, Larry Brown, Stevie Brown and Mike Brown.
Joyce was a devout Catholic that carried the act of stewardship with her everywhere she went; always putting other people's needs before her own. She was a devoted, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Joyce will be remembered for her great sense of humor, how feisty she was, and her strength and perseverance; even towards the end. Joyce will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Joyce is survived by her loving children, Gwendolyn (Martin) Barajas, Kenny Ramsey, Tammy (Kevin) Whited, and Greg (Annette) Ramsey, grandchildren, Candi Barajas, Robbie(Christy) Barajas, Crystal Barajas, Christopher Monks, Danielle Beam and Mariah Ramsey, 10 great grandchildren, her siblings, Cathy Kincaid, Carol (Joe) Schuetter, Gail (Donnie) Moore, and Donnie Brown.
The will be a church service held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (1925 Lewiston Drive, Louisville, KY 40216) on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11am. Guest are welcome to visit the family at the church prior to the service, beginning at 9:30am.
