Joyce A. (Murphy) Koch, 83, of New Albany, Indiana passed away at Providence Retirement Home on August 9, 2014.
Joyce was born on August 29, 1930 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Frank Murphy and Irene (Clifton) Mayfield. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Koch; brother, Thomas Murphy.
She is survived by her children, Paul David Koch (Debbie), Elizabeth Wadsworth, Suzanne Magnus (John); siblings, Raymond Mayfield (Bonnie), Linda Tankisley (Charlie), Paul Mayfield (Donna), James "Eddie" Mayfield (Diane), Bill Mayfield (Karen), Sheila Smith (Marty), Donnie Mayfield; 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A Remembrance Service will be at 7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane New Albany, Indiana 47150).
