Joyce Kessler Stone

Joyce Kessler Stone died on February 6, 2012 at 5:44pm. Date of birth August 14, 1923. She was the daughter of Michael and Nellie Geisman. Preceded in death by Robert Lee Kessler and Leeroy Stone, 2 sisters Mary Slifer and Norma Ritchie. Surviving is her daughter Susan Kessler Rivera of Louisville, KY, grandsons Vincent Rivera of Clarksville, IN, and Matthew Rivera of Louisville, KY.

Mrs. Stone worked at Montgomery Wards for 25 years in Troy and Piqua. A 1941 Troy High Graduate, she attended the Troy Gospel Tabernacle for most of her life. She was Sunday School Superintendent for 30 years and was the longest surviving member of this church.

She was known to love children's ministry and soul winning. Joyce is now with her family and many friends worshipping the King of Kings and the Lord of Hosts.

All services will be held in Ohio. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, at 1:00pm with visitation on Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm at Baird Funeral Home, 555 North Market Street in Troy, Ohio. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Troy, OH.
