Joyce Jenkins

Joyce Lynn Jenkins, age 64 died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, July 3. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.R. and Edith L. Caffee, daughter, Julie Whittington and her granddaughter, Lynn Hayes.

She is survived by her sons, Chris (Karen) and David (Tami) Hagan; her daughter, Terrie Browning (John); three cherished grandchildren, Nikole Inzana, Jonathan, and Jenna Whittington; sisters, Carol Ritter (Coy), Jan Lewis (John); and brother, Bill Caffee. A special recognition goes to her friend Bea Cannon and her children, Emily and Molly, as well as to her cherished co-workers at Dinsmore & Shohl. Joyce dedicated her life to her family and friends providing love, friendship and emotional support. She was loved by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be 7 pm Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown with visitation there from 5 – 7pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made to "The Healing Place" in Louisville, Ky. in her honor.
