Joyce S. (Forrester) Duguid, 79, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Joyce was a member of the Transatlantic Brides & Parents Association and the Limeys and Leprechauns.
Joyce was born on July 15, 1933 in Linlithgow, Scotland, to the late Sidney and Agnes (Hulston) Forrester. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Duguid.
She is survived by her sons, Ian Duguid (Joy), James Duguid (Kay), and Gordon Duguid (Karen); daughters, Cookie Duguid and Sharon Demesey; brother, Eric Forrester; grandchildren, Kristen Duguid, Mary Scurlock (Darin), Joshua, Nikki Benson (Scot), Morgan Duguid-Gillars, Robert, Michael, and Jason Demesey; great-grandchildren, Eli and soon-to-be-born Baby Girl Scurlock, Jude and Noah Benson, and other great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). The Funeral Service will be at 5 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association (4100 Churchman Avenue, Louisville, KY 40215).
