Joy Seifring

Joy was born February 5, 1932 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Remester A. Bingham and Joy (Reid) Bingham. On July 24, 1974 she married Lawrence J. Seifring. Her former husband J. Donald Smith preceded her in death.

Joy was a member of Northeast Christian Church. She also attended Indiana University and Sullivan University.

She worked at Cedar Lake Lodge for eleven years and was owner of Seifring Trucking, Inc.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jay D. Smith; a sister and a brother. Joy is survived by her husband, Lawrence J. Seifring of Louisville; three daughters, Patricia (Fred) Delmanhorst of Milwaukee, Wisc., Carolyn (Robert) Thompson of Minneapolis, MN, Mary (Billy) Smothers of Henryville, In; and two sons, Lawrence J. Seifring Jr., and Steven J. Smith of Louisville; a sister Rosemary Ribelin of Franklin, IN.
