Joy Jones

Joy Lee (Parrigin) Jones, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away January 17, 2013 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. Joy was born in Monticello, KY to Robert Abel and Eileen Parrigin. She was a graduate of Monticello High school and went on to receive her bachelors degree at Eastern Kentucky University. She was also a member of Southeast Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Abel Parrigin. Joy is survived by her devoted husband, Tom; son, Ben (Gretchen); daughter Emily(Joe)Angilella; beloved grandchildren: Will and Luke Jones and Sophia Angilella; mother, Eileen Parrigin; sister, Linda Parrigin; and loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday January 19, 2013 from 2-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home , 235 Juneau Drive Louisville, Ky 40243. There will be another visitation on Sunday January 20, 2013 from 4-8 PM at Hickey and Son Funeral Home located at 340 North Main St. Monticello, Ky 42633. Funeral Service will be Monday January 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hickey and Son Funeral Home.
