Joy Marie Ballard, 56, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family in New Albany, Indiana.
Joy was born on March 4, 1956 to Catherine Ballard and the late John Ballard in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was previously employed at AAFES in Charlestown, Indiana and Dillard's of Clarksville, Indiana.
She is survived by her mother, Catherine (Ulmer) Ballard; sisters, Vicki Pelfrey (Phil), Johnnie Riley (Richard), and Linda Popp (Chris); niece, Sarah Parker (Sean); nephews, Caleb & Colten Popp; & great-niece, Kaelynn Parker.
Her Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
