Joseph Wheatley

Joseph "Joe" Wheatley, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Joe was a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He was hard working and loved playing golf. Joe enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid Minnesota Viking fan. He will be missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on August 5, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to Elmer and Dorothy (Barnes) Wheatley. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Wheatley, Sr.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Tina Wheatley; mother, Dorothy Wheatley; brother, Elmer (Kimberly) Wheatley, Jr.; sisters, Janice Clouse and Janette (Roy) Trent; step-sons, Jason (Amanda) May and Justin (Kayla) May; grandchildren, Noah, Carson, and Frankie; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel. His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.

The family requests that memorial contributions in Joe's name be made to his wife, Tina Wheatley.
