Joseph Otis, 85, of Louisville passed away on November 1, 2014.
Joseph was born on September 22, 1929, in Canton, MS to the late Joseph and Eliza (Owens) Otis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Otis and son, Clayton Otis.
Joseph is survived by his children, Darlene Young (George), Larry Otis, Joyce Beacham, Joseph Otis, Tammy Doyle (William), Joseph Darnell Pollock, and Demetrius Pollock; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with funeral service beginning at 3:00pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at 11:00am Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central in Radcliff, KY.
