Joseph Maupin

Mr. Joseph M. Maupin, age 81 passed away January 31, 2011. He was retired from both General Electric and Jewish Hospital, was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Moose Lodge 5, VFW 3036, Highland Post American Legion and a friend of Ninth & O Baptist Church. He was a US Army and Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Maupin is survived by his wife, the former Betty A. Metzger; 4 sons, Steve, Fred, David and Joe; 2 sisters, Dorothy Dusch and Martha Doyle; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral ceremony will be 1PM Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Wednesday and after 10AM Thursday until time of service.
