Joseph Francis Bube

March 31, 1935 — November 18, 2015

Joseph Francis Bube, 80, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday evening, November 18, 2015. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from the Army Corp of Engineers. Joe was a 1953 graduate of Flaget High School. He was a member of Sacred Heart Oratory in Floyds Knobs, American Legion Post 0220 in Louisville, and the Knight of Columbus Council #1808 in Lanesville, Indiana.

He was born on March 31, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Delbert Francis and Janie Elizabeth (Henderson) Bube. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Robertson and brother, Charles Bube.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kathleen (Dooley) Bube; children, Robert Bube (Connie), Donald Clark (Marie), Shannon Fehr (David), Kevin Clark (Megan), Vicki Poynter (David); 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 10 AM at his church. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday at Sacred Cross Oratory (3682 U.S. 150, Floyds Knobs) with cremation to follow according to Joe's wishes.
