Joseph E. Camp

Joseph E. Camp, 42, of Marysville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union Local 70. Joey enjoyed working out, jogging, fishing, bonfires, telling jokes, and spending time with his family.

He was born on October 21, 1981, in Xenia, Ohio, to Joseph and Tammy (Ferguson) Camp. He is preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Jo Weidner; and grandparents, Thomas (Shirley) Camp, Sr..

Joey is survived by his loving parents, Joseph and Tammy Camp; fiance, Nicole Newcum; children, Noah Baker, Brianne Charles, Jade Dodd, Ella Miller, Parker Huff, and Eli Camp; stepchildren, Joshua (Betty Jo) Sizemore, and Christian (Destiny) Sizemore; sister, Jennifer (David) O'krent; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Memorial Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joey's memory can be made to Newcomer Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
