Joseph Clifford Boyles, 86, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Joe was a proud veteran of the United States Army, who served in the Headquarters Company during the Korean War. He enjoyed Southwest woodworking and competition country dancing. Joe was also an avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed baseball.
He was born on April 10, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Andrew Boyles and Florence (Neumaier) Boyles. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his 8 brothers and sisters.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Judy Boyles; children, Michael (Cindy White) Boyles, Debbie (John) Barnes, Dennis Boyles, Judy Hester, and Joe (Mandi) Boyles; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Joe's wishes, and no services will be held at this time. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) was entrusted with his care.
