Jonathon Thomas Cummins

Jonathon Thomas "Jon" Cummins, 37, passed away on February 10, 2022. He was born on May 16, 1984 in Louisville, KY. Jon loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting and working on cars. When you spent time with Jon there was never a dull moment. He never met a stranger and was always helping others. Jon will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Vera Cummins, Judith Tyree and Betty Fluhr; uncles, Robert Cummins and Gary Cummins; cousin, Christina Hayes and niece, Kendall Barefield.

Jon leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, Cody (Destiny) Kapp and Credence Cummins; fiancé, Lara Thalman; step-sons, Memphis Thalman and Jackson Thalman; grandson, Kane Kapp; mother, Alison Cummins; father, Dennis Cummins; sister, Melanie (Jim) Barefield; brothers, Michael (Taylor) Cummins and Chad Cummins; grandfather, Joe Fluhr and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 1pm-6pm.
