John R. White Jr., 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Chief White was proud of his service in the United States Navy for 20 years. He enjoyed games, music, and Star Wars. His favorite memories were family trips to Disney and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was born on October 24, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Dorothy (Gilchrist) White. He is preceded in death by his Father, John Russell White, Sr., Mother, Dorothy White, Brother, Jack White, Sister, Diane Crigger, Father-In-law, Charles Marshall, and Mother-In-Law, Eva Marshall.
John is survived by his loving Wife of 54 years, Darlene M. White; Children, Amy White, John (Lindsay) White III, and Punkin (Josh) White; 5 Grandchildren; Brother, Marvin (Betty) White; Sister, Debra (Peter) Williams; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
