John Vincent Lasita

John Vincent Lasita (Johnny) age 61 was called home on May 19, 2014 at Jewish Hospital with his loving family by his side. Johnny served in The United States Army and enjoyed playing Golf, Golf and more Golf. Johnny started his career as a Master Carpenter and finished working 20 years for Federated Dept Stores traveling the United States as Construction Administrator.
He was preceded in Death by his father John J. Lasita and his mother Evelyn Lasita, brother Larry Lasita and sister Joan Eide. He is survived by his loving wife Glenda, son Ben (Traci), daughter Bonnie Lasita and grandchildren Hudson Jane and Bosley Vincent along with 5 sisters; Ceil Stephens, Mary Hare, Wilma Dumas, Barb Bingham and Jenny Kolodzik.

Johnny is a redeemed child of the Most High God. He believed that love was from God who gave him the power to show his love to his friends, children and especially his virtuous wife Glenda.
Visitation will be Friday May 23, 2014 from 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. Service will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2014 Springdale Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 at 12pm with visitation from 11am to 12pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The Wounded Warriors Fund or Humane Society of Louisville.
