John "Travis" Taylor, 49, of Crestwood, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
He was born on May 25, 1973, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Travis was the installation manager for America's Floor Source and had been in the flooring business for nearly 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling, and his sons and was the life of every party.
Travis is survived by his sons, Tyler (Taylor) Parnell and Zachary Taylor; his mother, Laverne Taylor; sister, Melissa Horine; and 2 granddaughters, Ellie and Norah Parnell. He is preceded in death by his father, John Taylor; a sister, Sherry Young; and his youngest son, Quinton Taylor.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the funeral home for assistance with funeral expenses.
