John Steven Riley

Riley, John Steven, 68, of McDaniels, KY passed away on July 13, 2014.
He is a retired Louisville Police Officer, and he proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
John was born on June 9, 1946, in Louisville to the late Charles and Mildred (Stettler) Riley. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Riley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Evelyn Riley; children, Stephanie Riley Garas, and Trent Steven Riley; brothers, Jerry and Dennis Riley; sisters, Charlotte Mattingly and Donna Goings; four grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1pm to 8pm Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral to celebrate the life of John will be held Friday at 10:30am at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
In Memory of John, memorial donations may be made to the Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
