John Russell Miner
January 14, 1932 — February 23, 2014
John Russell Miner (Russ), 82 years old, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014. Russ was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and Bellarmine University, served in the US Air Force and was retired from Brown Forman after 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, John H and Katharine Russell Miner; brother, James R. Miner; and niece Amy Bauer DeSantis.
Russ is survived by his sisters, Ginna Willenbrink, Maggie Bauer and Shirley Emrich (Tony); a host of nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass of Celebration will be 9:30am Friday, February 28, 2014 at Church of the Epiphany, 914 Old Harrods Creek Road, Louisville, KY 40223. There will be hospitality after Mass in the community center.
Memorials may be made to Hosparus or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
