He was born on October 19, 1965 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to James and Patricia (Hash) O'Brien. He is preceded in death by his father, James M. O'Brien.
John is survived by his loving mother, Patricia O'Brien; brother, James M. (Kimberly) O'Brien, II; and nephew, James C. O'Brien.
It was John's wishes to be cremated and buried in West Virginia. Cremations was entrusted to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana).
