Mr. John C. Murphy, Sr., age 75 of Louisville passed away March 28, 2011. He was a retired police officer with the old Louisville Police Department, a member of the FOP and a US Navy Veteran.
Mr. Murphy is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, John, Jr. (Alice),Kevin (Arlene)and Jeffrey (Tammi); daughter, Jill Murphy; brother, Jerry; sisters, Evelyn Blair and Jane Murphy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
A private memorial service was held at Living Hope Baptist Church, with private burial. Expressions may be made to Hosparus or Living Hope Baptist Church.
