John "Mike" Tichenor, Sr.

John "Mike" Tichenor, Sr., 65, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. He was an employee of O'Connor and Raque for over 27 years. Mike was an avid bow hunter and fisherman.
Mike was born on April 18, 1948 in Louisville to the late Rhodes S. and Pauline (Adams) Tichenor. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara S. (Douglas) Tichenor; son, Mike Tichenor, Jr.; and sister, Patricia Medley (Ken).
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 1 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Mike's wishes.
Contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
