John Michael Simmons

John Michael Simmons, age 54 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012. He was a 25 year retiree diesel mechanic for TARC, and was a Catholic by faith. He was an avid motorcyclist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy and Margaret "Peggy" Simmons and his son, John Michael Simmons, Jr.

John is survived by his loving children, Samantha Simmons (Brandon) and Chris Simmons (Sarah); grandchildren, Ethan and Caden Stump, and Bryan C. Simmons, Jr; life companion Estella Baylor and her children, Billy (Bobbie), Dawna (Ben) and Teri (Aaron); and her grandchildren, Hunter, Brittney, Dylan, Elijah, Hannah, Abigail, Summer and Michael. He is also survived by a host of cousins, family and friends.

Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there from 2 – 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hosparus.
