John Wayne McIntyre, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024. John was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He was great with children especially his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed tinkering with mechanical things and could fix just about anything.
He was born on October 26, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to Eugene and Evelyn (Clark) McIntyre. He is preceded in death by his Father, Eugene "Jack" R. McIntyre, Mother, Elizabeth Evelyn McIntyre, Sisters, Estelle Mitchell and Mary Eckert, Brother, Gary McIntyre.
John is survived by his loving family, Siblings, Joseph E. (Anna) McIntyre, Martha L. (Ken) Lone, Charlie A. (Judy) McIntyre, Annie (Marty) Bennett, and Stephen A. (Sharon) McIntyre; Brothers-In-Law, James R. Mitchell and Jack Eckert, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in John's memory be made to Crusade for Children.
