John L. Mcdougal

John L McDougal, 68, passed on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Clark Memorial Hospital. John worked as a machinist. He served as church deacon and youth leader that shared the joy of the Gospel.
John is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Amelia McDougal, his parents Edwin McDougal, Georgia Inez Overton and siblings, Nora Lee Jones, Talissa Overton Parham, and Mary Kay McDougal.
He is survived by his daughters, Sonya McDougal, Yalanda Parrish, Cara Nava, Felicia Norton; his sons, Daniel Anderson, Thomas Broy and Jason Bauerla and siblings, Sonny McDougal, Latisha White, Barbara Welch, and Michelle Overton-Baker. He will be missed by grand children, great grand children, nieces, friends and relatives.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who cared for him over the last few weeks.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 4 with visitation from 11:00am-12:00pm with service to follow at Evangel North Church, 1732 Thames Drive, Clarksville, IN 47129. Contributions in John's memory may be made to the Human Association of Clark County (2702 Middle Road, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
