John Wayne Mccain

John Wayne McCain, 61, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. John worked in construction and remodeling his entire life. He owned and operated McCain's Construction for many years.

He was born on March 9, 1961, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Jesse McCain, Sr., and Ruth (Stephens) McCain. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jesse F. McCain, Jr.; and sister, Sandra "Sandi" McFarland.

John is survived by his siblings, Linda Ashwood, Donna Sturgeon, Patricia (Gene) Swinney, Jacquline "Lynn" (Robert) Manley, Mary Jo (James) Steed, Cindy McCain, and David (Cynthia) McCain; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.
