John H. "Jack" Beierle, 90, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
Jack was born on March 5, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky to Sylvester and Bertha (Stapp) Beierle. He was raised in Louisville, attended St. Vincent De Paul grade school, Flaget High School and University of Kentucky, acquiring a bachelor degree in pharmacy. He is a past member of Kappa Psi Pharmacy Fraternity and Rho Chi Honor Society. Jack served in the army and was deployed to Korea. He worked in retail pharmacy over 50 years, beginning with Taylor Drug Company, Shively Otto Drugs and the last 15 years with Walgreens. He was a faithful member of St. Louis Bertand Catholic Church and continued to attend after leaving Louisville to live in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Ott) Beierle, Mother, Bertha (Stapp) Beierle, Father, Sylvester A. (Pep) Beierle, sisters, Doris Mays and Elaine Sullivan.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Lisa Beierle Renne (Charles) and grandson, Christian Renne; son, John Damian Beierle (Jill) and grandchildren, Ethan, Haley, Seth and Ian Beierle.
His Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, Louisville, Kentucky.
He was charitable and his favorite charities were, Priests for Life, Food for the Poor, Dare to Care, St. Jude's Research Hospital, and Clancy's Dream Border Collie Rescue. Memorial gifts to any of the above would be appreciated.
