John Thomas Hutson, Jr.

John Thomas "Buddy" Hutson, Jr, 78, of Louisville, KY, passed away on February 25, 2024. He retired from Eagle Engineering after 50 years of service. Buddy enjoyed fishing, canoeing and camping at Green River. He had a heart of gold and loved spending time with his family and friends. The impact Buddy made on someone in a very short amount of time was very genuine. He was one of a kind.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hallie Katherine Hutson; daughter, Deana Hutson; son, John Thomas Hutson, III; grandson, John Thomas Hutson, IV; granddaughter, Denise Hutson; parents, John and Helen Thomas Hutson, Sr. and his sister, Phyllis Brown.

Buddy leaves to cherish his memories, sisters, Carolyn Horine and Patricia Korfage; great-granddaughter, Cherish Chamberlain; great-grandson, Lucian Hutson; caring and like family, Chris (Nicole) Stevenson; bonus grandchildren, Ava, Landen and Wyatt and special friend, Dottie Haynes.

A graveside service will be March 9, 2024, at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road, Louisville KY 40205, beginning at 11am.
