John Charles Himler, 68, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014. He was born on March 19, 1946 in Williston, North Dakota. John was a Navy Veteran and a pilot for Hampton Airways Inc. He was preceded in death by his father, John Albert Himler, and sister, Melanie.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kerry (Feltz) Himler; sons Jonathan (Angela) and Joshua Himler; and daughter Jillian Fohr (Daryl); granddaughters Peyton and Tenley Fohr, and Briahna; mother, Lorraine (Fredine) Himler. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675 or www.woundedwarriorproject.org/Donate.
