John E. Simon

John E. Simon, age 75 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his home. John was a member of the Kentucky Air National Guard from 1954 to 1956. He proudly wore his Veterans of the Korean War hat throughout his life. John was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Simon, and his daughter, Luana Woods.
John is survived by his sister, Mary Bond; brothers Norbert and Paul Simon; sons, John and Patrick Simon; granddaughter Linda Padilla; grandsons, Philip Simon (Sara) and Lawrence Simon; and a number of great grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects at a Memorial Service to be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 20 at 3522 Powell Avenue, Louisville, KY 40215.
