John David Warner, 58, passed away on July 11, 2014. He retired as a mechanic from Joe's Auto Parts. Some of John's interests were: auto racing and working on racecars, walking the river bank collecting arrowheads, snow skiing, and fishing. He was a passionate Louisville Cardinals fan. Most important to him was his family and especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Susie Warner, brothers, Bob Warner and Hobart Warner; sisters, Beatrice Wells and Joanne Drake.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Denise Embry Warner; daughter, Shannon Warner Collins; son, John (Monica) Warner; grandchildren; Lauren, Trent, Kaitlynn and Landon; brothers, Jack (Vickie) Warner and Dan (Rhonda) Warner; sisters, Karen Dukes, Cindy Dukes, Dot (Bob) Drake and Winnie Pyle; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
There will be a memorial service at a later date, which will be announced.
John's wishes were for cremation.
John will be missed deeply.
