John L Couch

John L. Couch, 94, of Fisherville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

He was born on November 18, 1928 in Hazard, Kentucky to Estill and Sally Couch. John retired truck driver with Frito Lay and was a member of Fisherville Church of Christ. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ada K. Couch; daughter, Sharon K. Couch; grandson, Jayden Patton; father, Estill Couch; mother, Sally Couch; brothers, Curtis Couch and Ancey Couch; sisters, Lilly Thomas, Marge Moore, and Violet Clark.

John is survived by his son, John R Couch (Peggy); daughter, Sandy Patton (Rob); grandchildren, Cassie Snyder (Joe), Chelsea Hogue, Candice Hogue, Gabriel Patton; great grandchildren, Levi Snyder; Mia Snyder; and Holly Snyder; brothers, Ernest Couch, Larry Couch, and Daryl Couch; sister, Gladys King; numerous nieces and nephews; and his little dog, Cherrio.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville, KY.
