John Burkardt, Jr.
John Robert Burkardt, Jr., 24, of New Albany passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011. John had attended First Assembly of God Church in New Albany, Indiana. He was a hard worker, a member of Labors Local #576 and the Eagle Scouts who was inducted into the Order of the Arrow.
John was born on August 13, 1986 in Louisville, Kentucky to Marlyce Ann (Dickinson) Burkardt-Neal & the late John Robert Burkardt, Sr.
He is survived by his mother & father, Marlyce A. Burkardt-Neal & Isaac Neal, Sr.; sisters, Autumn Joy Burkardt & Rhiannon Michelle Burkardt-Fisher (Jon); brother, Isaac Neal, Jr; aunt, Debbie Dickinson-McCullough; niece, Destiny Fisher; grandfather, U'Don Dickinson; & his grandmothers, Ruth Marie Lewis & Sylvia Saling.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 PM on Tuesday, March 29 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) and from 9 to 10 AM at the church. His Funeral Service will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, March 30 at First Assembly of God (2778 Charlestown Road, New Albany) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God (2778 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150).
