John Baptist Brown, II

John Baptist Brown, II, 51, of McDaniels, Kentucky passed away Sunday February 2, 2025.

John, originally from Louisville, KY, was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, a United States Air Force Veteran / Desert storm - Desert Shield / Gulf Veteran, Knights of Columbus 3rd & 4th Degree Knight. He was also a past Firefighter of Black Mud Fire and Rescue, Zoneton Fire Department, Camp Taylor Fire and Rescue and was an active Firefighter with the McDaniels Fire Department at the time of his death. 

John’s passing was preceded by the passing of his parents, Robert L. (Bob) and Leonilda (Nell) Kluesner Brown; his brothers Jude Thaddeus, Joseph Anthony, II and Paul Raymond, II, brother-in-law Randy Jamison and sister Donna Campbell. 

John is survived by the love of his life, Jennifer Bell; children, Austin Beavers, Lacie Buchter, Jordan (Tyler), Chase, Jonathan (Stephanie), Madison (Timothy Sr), Paige (Michael) and Bryce Brown; grandchildren, Kayden, Anna, Timothy Jr., Brantley, Easton, Wren, Cutter & Lucy; his brother, Robert L. Brown, Jr (Cathy); and sisters, Leonilda Jamison and NaomiRose Paulin (Curtis); nieces and nephews, Andrew, Jaimie and Alexander Paulin and Josie Canter; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10am-11am, Saturday February 8th at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1020 East Burnett Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40217, with funeral Mass to begin at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.

John's family invites everyone to lunch at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3938 Poplar Level Road, immediately following the burial.
