John Brennan

September 9, 1925 — May 2, 2014

John Lester Brennan, 88, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away on May 2, 2014 at his new home in Clarksville, Indiana. He served in U. S. Naval Aviation during World War II and enjoyed his private planes. He was an avid gardener who also enjoyed coin collecting, playing games, and working puzzles. John loved spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

John was born on September 9, 1925 in Schenectady, New York, to the late Richard James and Genevieve (Brown) Brennan. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beth Lenore (Weekes) Brennan; children, David Brennan, Charlene Natale (Joe); grandchildren, Joseph Natale, Nikki Rice (Jeff), Rocco Natale; great-grandson; Conner Rice.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Friday, May 9, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with a Memorial Service taking place at 7 PM in the chapel at the funeral home.
