John "Fuzzy" Bline Jr., born on August 9, 1955, in New Albany, Indiana, departed this life on October 10, 2024, in his beloved hometown. He (Mule) was a dedicated truck driver for most of his life, profession that often kept him on the road but gave him the opportunity to experience the vast landscapes of the countryside.
John embraced a wide range of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He was an avid fisherman, a passionate hunter, and enjoyed camping under the stars. A lover of music, John found great pleasure in playing the guitar, often bringing family and friends together through the camaraderie it created. He also had a competitive spirit, enjoying games of horseshoes and darts. He relished moments spent cooking for his loved ones. His greatest treasure, however, was the time he spent with his family and creating lasting memories.
He is survived by his three children: daughter Michelle (Lovell) Bline, son Travis Bline, and daughter Mallory (Matt) Coyle. John was also a stepfather to Medessa (James) Embry and Joe (Amy) Wilhoite. His legacy continues through his many grandchildren-Derrick (Danielle), Darian (Vinny), Sandra (Matt), Sydnie, Marshall, Nick, Weston, Bryce, Casey, Alaina, Haileigh, Grady, Olivia, Starr, Angel, and Jaxsen-as well as six cherished great-grandchildren.
John is also remembered by his siblings: sister Becky (Wally) Barnes, brother Tim Bline, brother Lonnie Bline, sister Julie (Raymond) Tapp, and brother Glenn (Marilyn) Bline. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry his memory forward.
John Bline Jr. was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Saundra Bline; his parents, John and Evelyn (Berryman) Bline Sr.; sister Betty Rogers; brother Frank Bline; and sister Sally Crabtree.
His enduring spirit and love for his family will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
It was John's wishes to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held on October 20, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the VFW Post 1693, 1919 Grant Line Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
