John A. Jarboe

John A. Jarboe, 85, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Westminster Health Care. He was the retired owner of Jarboe Painting and an Army veteran.

John was born on June 25, 1927 in Lebanon Junction, Kentucky to the late Theo and Clyde (Brady) Jarboe. John was also preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Jean (Franklin) Jarboe. He is survived by his sons, Gary Jarboe (Kim), Bruce Jarboe, Mark Jarboe (Susan), Tony Jarboe (Cassie); grandchildren, Alex, Travis, Dillion, Mark, Jr., Sarah, Zara, Carrie Jarboe, Zach Pickham; great-grandchild, Julian Jarboe.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 PM on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with entombment and military honors to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, KY.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
