Joe Covington, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Joe was retired from Louisville Gas & Electric.
He was born on January 19, 1928 in Richmond, Kentucky to Joe and Mentie Covington. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Joe is survived by his Daughters, Carmelita Jackson, Janet Baker, Jeannie Covington, Faith Pridgen, and Kelly Covington, Sons, Robert Covington, Jeffrey Covington, Westley Covington, and Rickey Covington.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Newburg Apostolic Church, 4817 East Indian Trail. a celebration of his life will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 27, at the church with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
