Joe Bryant Smith
Mr. Joe Bryant Smith, age 79 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Pewee Valley, an Army Veteran, and was retired from the Armored Car Company after 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ora Board Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife Lucille Bowman Smith; 3 children, Diana Conely, Michelle Redd and Joe Smith, Jr., 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Pewee Valley First Baptist Church 7102 Old Floydsburg Rd Pewee Valley, KY. with the Rev. Michael Jackson officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Burial will follow the church ceremony at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY at 2:00 p.m. with military honors.
