Joe B. Compton, Sr., age 54 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, John William Compton, Sr.; and his brother, John William Compton, Jr.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Susan; his children, Christina Mullins (Cecil), Joe Compton, Jr. and David Byrd (Stephanie); grandchildren, Tiffany, Christopher and Kaylee; his mother, Nancy Compton; siblings, Nellie McIntyre, Eugene Compton (Paula) and Tammy Bond (Joe); also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial services will be 2pm Saturday, March 14th at Bethlehem Baptist Church 5708 Preston Highway Louisville, KY 40219. Following the service there will be a reception at Manion Hall.
