Joann (Williamson) Fess, 76, of Galena, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014.
She was born on July 17, 1938 in New Albany to the late Louis and Goldie (Mahan) Williamson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman V. Fess, Jr.
Joann is survived by her children, Lou Ann Neeley (Roger Gibson), Victor "Joe" Fess, Vonnie Sheets (Mark), Cindy Guennouni; siblings, Lois Jean Harmon, Ralph and Homer Williamson; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and companion, Donald Hayworth.
Cremation was chosen following Joann's wishes. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM Friday, August 22, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, Indiana 47150) with a Memorial Service taking place at 7 PM.
Contributions in Joann's memory may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
