Joann M. (Forbis) Milliner, "MEMA", 76, entered into Heaven on March 9, 2012 in Elizabeth, Indiana. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
Joann was born on February 12, 1936 in Louisville to the late Ralph M. and Junitia D. (Kaufer) Forbis. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer D. Milliner, and sister, Eleanor Goff.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Milliner (Susan), Theresa (Howard), Julia Hubert, Timothy (Sue), Daniel (Sheila), Nicholas (Kjersti), David, Joan Picente (Frank), Anthony (Mary), Mark, Angela Ratliff (Bernard), Elizabeth Veith (Matthew), and Jason; sister, Marilyn Ott, brother-in-law, Elbert Goff; 45 grandchildren; and 45 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 PM on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (3511 Rudd Avenue, Louisville, KY 40212) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
